KINFIT APP UPDATES
The Latest Info
KINFIT 1.0.1 IS NOW AVAILABLE
September 16, 2019
KinFit version 1.0.1 is released and available on Google Play and the App Store. Here are a few quick learning points!
Ensure your Android device has the Google Fit API/APP installed; not all do. Kinfit uses this API to port your steps into the app. You can get it from the Google Play store, for free, here. Apple users will need to connect KinFit to Apple Health.
If you are using a wearable device (FitBit, Garmin or other brand) you must connect your device to the Google Fit API, either in Google Fit, or by using a 3rd party app. For FitBit, we recommend the Fit2Fit app. For Garmin and a number of others, there are several fitness data conglomerator apps, such as Strava, Nike Run Club, etc., that may work to measure your steps on your wearable device and port them into the Google Fit/Apple Health, and the KinFit app for use on the Kin blockchain.
You will have to authorize Google Fit to allow access to those apps. You can find out how to do that here.
Additionally, here are all of the apps that are compatible with Google Fit.
The "Doubler" is an opportunity for you to spend a small amount of Kin in order to earn much more Kin by "doubling" the rate at which you are rewarded. We recommend purchasing the Doubler when you see the pop up for it! It will pay for itself and then some.
